Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Worcester, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:30 AM - 11:30 AMTue03:30 AM - 11:30 AMWed03:30 AM - 11:30 AMThur03:30 AM - 11:30 AMFri03:30 AM - 11:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
