Activities Assistant Full-time Activities Assistant, $17.49 to $18.65 per hour based on experience, Monday through Friday with every other weekend off. Help residents at Bristol Glen, a UMC community in Newton, NJ, stay active, connected, and engaged every day. Bristol Glen is a continuing care community on in Sussex County, with independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing all on one campus. What you'll do: Plan and lead activities, events, and programs that residents genuinely look forward to Encourage resident participation and help run recreational and social programs Safely transport residents to on-site and community activities and outings Track attendance and participation so no resident gets left out Build relationships with local organizations to bring new experiences to campus Keep activity supplies and materials stocked and ready to go Share input with the care team on resident goals and well-being What you'll need: Required: High school diploma or GED One year of work experience Preferred: Current New Jersey CNA certification One year of experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting Pay and benefits: $17.49 to $18.65 per hour, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Group life and voluntary life insurance Tuition assistance, professional development, and e-learning access Generous paid time off plus 9 paid holidays Retirement plan with employer match Employee assistance program and discount programs Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other weekend.
