Job Description:

Role Overview:

• The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner (BSA/PO) serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives. This role is responsible for requirements gathering, backlog management, stakeholder collaboration, and driving Agile product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Create business process documentation, user stories, and use cases.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure requirements are traceable, complete, and aligned with business goals.
• Product Ownership & Agile Delivery:
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business priorities.
  • Develop and refine user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive product roadmap execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users, project managers, and development teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and status updates.
• Salesforce Functional Expertise
  • Support Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud initiatives.
  • Partner with developers and architects on solution design and feasibility analysis.
  • Support Salesforce configuration, enhancements, and customization requirements.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives and Salesforce best practices.
• Testing & Validation
  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality, end-to-end solution delivery.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Create and maintain:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Functional Specifications
  • Process Flows
  • User Stories
  • Test Cases
  • Ensure documentation supports compliance, traceability, and audit requirements.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong experience with the Salesforce platform, preferably Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Administrator Certification or other Salesforce Certifications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, data models, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
