Quality Assurance Technician - Canton, Ohio

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $26.00/HR A well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 1+ year experience as a Quality Technician
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, height gages, CMM and surface plate inspection techniques)
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software.
• Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
• 1st shift 7am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques; supports production team as needed.
• Inspects materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.
• Performs First Article Inspections and prepares First Article Reports.
• Calibrates inspection equipment and maintains records in Gagepack database.
• Performs 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots, as required by customer
• Maintains inspection records according to company & customer standards.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
