Facilities Maintenance Engineer

A leading facilities management and building services organization is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a commercial facility in Folsom, CA. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping facilities running efficiently. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Troubleshoot and repair building equipment and facility systems Conduct daily facility inspections and identify maintenance needs Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and manage work orders Perform repairs involving plumbing, carpentry, doors, fixtures, and general building maintenance Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, and repair documentation Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with facility standards Required Qualifications 2+ years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman, or related experience Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems Ability to identify issues and perform repairs independently Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift equipment and work in a variety of environments Preferred Experience Building Management System (BMS) experience Chillers, generators, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches), or compressed air systems (CDA) Fire Life Safety (FLS) system knowledge Mechanical equipment troubleshooting experience Familiarity with IRC codes and building systems Why Join?
