Trial Attorney - Insurance Defense

Job Description : Sioli Alexander Pino is a fast-paced, high-volume insurance defense law firm seeking a skilled Trial Attorney with courtroom experience to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with a proven track record of handling trials, strong strategic instincts, and the ability to manage complex defense cases independently from inception through verdict. Practice Areas : Premises Liability, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Auto Claims, Maritime Law Key Responsibilities : Serve as lead counsel on trials, arbitrations, and mediations in state and federal courts. Develop litigation strategy, conduct depositions, and argue motions. Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for trial. Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and trial documents. Analyze case facts, legal issues, and exposure to develop resolution strategies. Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel. Manage litigation files independently, with support from paralegals and junior attorneys. Qualifications : Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar. Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience, including first- or second-chair trial experience. Strong knowledge of personal injury, workers' compensation, auto claims, premises liability, and/or maritime law. Excellent courtroom, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Preferred Skills : Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding billing practices.
