RMA Job OpportunityThe RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.Responsibilities:Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reportsEnsure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely mannerContact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriatelyNotify hospital or personnel of physician's ordersTriage patients to ensure productive departmental flowQualifications:High school diploma or GED required12 to 18 months related experience and/or training requiredRMA certification requiredAbout MANA Family Medicine HarBer: MANA Family Medicine HarBer is home to a team who strive to provide comprehensive healthcare for every member of the family at all stages of life.
