Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Location: MVH main campus Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Call requirements: 1 mandatory call shift per week and 1 weekend per month. Weekend call starts at 0700 Sat and goes to 0700 Monday. Must have cardiac cath lab experience greater than 1 year. Prefer experience in electrophysiology, EPIC, and MacLab. 2 labs of EP (pacemaker devices, ablations, ICD insertions) and 5 cath labs. Tend to see approximately 20 patients a day between all labs. It's a fast paced, high acuity Cath lab. We do structural heart procedures also (Watchman's, TAVR, Mitraclips). It is a level 3 Cath lab. General responsibilities: Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. Provides peri-procedural care and education for patients. Assists cardiologists and other specialists performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintains records and documentation for procedures.
