Job Description:

The Software QA Engineer will develop and execute automated and manual testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise software applications. The role focuses on Python-based automation, Selenium test frameworks, database validation, and collaboration with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium .

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

• Validate backend data using MySQL and Redis .

• Perform API testing and backend validation.

• Collaborate with developers to resolve software defects and improve product quality.

• Execute manual testing when automation is not applicable.

• Analyze test results and provide detailed quality reports.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Maintain test automation frameworks and improve test coverage.

• Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support continuous integration and continuous testing initiatives.

• Review software requirements and provide testability feedback.

• Maintain testing documentation and automation standards.

• Recommend process improvements to enhance software quality.

• Assist with production issue verification and root cause analysis.

Required Skills:

• 35 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.

• Strong programming experience with Python .

• Hands-on experience with Selenium automation.

• Experience developing automated test frameworks.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

• Experience performing:

  • Functional Testing

  • Regression Testing

  • Integration Testing

  • System Testing

• Experience validating databases using MySQL .

• Experience working with Redis .

• Experience with defect tracking and bug reporting tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Knowledge of SQL query development.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Git version control.

• Performance or load testing experience.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Certifications:

• ISTQB Certified Tester Preferred

• Certified Selenium Automation Tester Preferred

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT) Preferred

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals Preferred
