Medical Records Clerk (PRN)Vienna Correctional Center - Vienna, IL 62995Position Type Per Diem Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Category Administrative & ClericalHourly salary of $20.49/hour with a PRN differential of $4/hour.Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a per-diem Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Vienna Correctional Center located in Vienna, Illinois.The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes. They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepares reports as needed and more.Qualifications:High School Diploma or Bachelor's DegreeCertification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not requiredPrior experience with medical records and servicesCompletion of a medical terminology course preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: PRN
