What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) teaching license (Note: Emergency Certifications are not acceptable)
• Experience working with children in either elementary Autism SPED or PreK SPED settings preferred
• Willingness to consider local and travel professionals
• Open to candidates with pending certification (as long as full licensure is obtained before starting)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to an onsite position—remote or virtual options are not offered

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
• Provide direct instruction, support, and modifications in a classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and parents for comprehensive student support
• Track and monitor student progress, updating goals and strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
