Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 15:00 - 03:00 shift

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, handling a variety of medical situations with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.
• Manage patient emergencies, including respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, and hypertension.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active RN license.
• Meditech experience preferred.
