The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive healthcare services within hospital inpatient units, focusing on delivering high-quality family-centered care. This role requires expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of a variety of conditions across all ages, ensuring effective treatment plans and patient education within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and health assessments of patients across the lifespan
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document patient history and clinical findings accurately
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inpatient hospital settings
