Commercial Loan Closer Location: Dunwoody or Duluth, GA Reports To: Loan Operations Manager Bank Size: Approximately $1.3B Community Bank Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Closer to support a growing commercial lending platform. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and closing a variety of commercial loan transactions, including C&I, commercial real estate, owner-occupied real estate, SBA, and participation loans. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial loan documentation experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with lenders, credit, legal counsel, title companies, and borrowers to ensure timely and accurate closings. Key Responsibilities Coordinate commercial loan closings from approval through funding Review approved credit packages and loan documentation requirements Prepare and review closing checklists Work with attorneys, title companies, borrowers, lenders, and third-party vendors to satisfy closing conditions Review loan documents for accuracy and compliance Ensure collateral perfection requirements are completed Coordinate funding and booking of commercial loans Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Assist with loan modifications, renewals, extensions, and participation transactions Serve as a key liaison between lending, credit, operations, and external partners Track and resolve documentation exceptions Loan Types The Commercial Loan Closer will have exposure to: Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Owner-Occupied Commercial Real Estate Investor Commercial Real Estate Construction Loans SBA 7(a) & 504 Loans Lines of Credit Participation Loans Equipment Financing Preferred Background Must Have 3+ years of commercial loan closing experience Experience reviewing commercial loan documentation Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and compliance requirements Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Highly Preferred SBA loan closing experience Commercial real estate loan closing experience Participation loan experience Experience working directly with attorneys and title companies Community bank or regional bank experience We're looking for someone who: Is detail-oriented and highly organized Thrives in a fast-paced commercial lending environment Enjoys collaborating with lenders, credit, and operations teams Takes ownership of transactions from approval through funding Can identify issues proactively and drive transactions to closing Why Someone Would Leave for This Opportunity Stable, well-capitalized community bank Commercial lending remains a primary growth focus Broad exposure across multiple commercial loan types High visibility role within the lending organization Collaborative culture with direct access to decision makers Opportunity to make an impact versus being a small piece of a large operation Compensation Base Salary: DOE Bonus: Potential discretionary bonus Full Benefits Package #J-18808-Ljbffr MRISpokane
