RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 or 48 hours per week options
• Patient ratios of 5-6:1, can flex up to 7:1 only in extreme cases
• Every other weekend requirement mandatory
• Block scheduling available (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday)
• Must have minimum 2 years nursing experience with orthopedic work experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have Epic experience
• Required certifications: BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Required skills: IV start and telemetry monitoring
• Float requirement to other med-surg units within facility based on census needs
• Care for orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients
• Fast-paced unit requiring strong pain management skills for orthopedic and spine patients
• Must be customer service oriented
• 13-week contracts available
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• NC or Compact nursing license required
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
