divh2Supply Chain Process Designer II/h2pAndersen Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Process Designer II officing out of our Bayport or Cottage Grove facility depending on project. This position is responsible for managing and driving the material and information flow processes within projects. Key focus is developing the complete end-to-end supply chain system and being a key contributor on medium to large scale projects. This candidate will travel approximately 25%. There is no sponsorship for this position./ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliIdentifies unexpressed customer needs or customer problems and can identify potential solutions./liliDevelop material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs./liliLead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions./liliDesign and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects./liliDesign and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives./liliBuild reciprocal working relationships with people from across the organization and suppliers./liliCommunicate new ideas, project status, and results to project team and leadership through organized presentations that promote dialogue and understanding./liliDevelop new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain./liliCoaches, guides, and trains less experienced staff on technical skills within the functional area./liliAble to work as in-charge lead for supply chain specific tasks./liliInformally provides direction to IT, scheduling, procurement, sourcing, vendors, etc./li/ulpQualifications and Skills:/pulli4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. 5-10 years of experience preferred/liliHas considerable versatility in applying specialized technical knowledge in a wide variety of situations./liliIn-depth knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology./liliIn-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping.
