Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics professional looking for a stable first-shift opportunity? We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Frankfort, IL. This role is ideal for someone with experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, logistics coordination, inventory control, and shipping documentation who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in delivery drivers and verify shipment paperwork.

• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery records.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal departments.

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and handwritten logs.

• Monitor dock activity to ensure timely loading and unloading of freight.

• Resolve discrepancies involving shipping paperwork, inventory, and deliveries.

• Assist with inventory tracking, material handling, and warehouse operations.

• Generate reports and perform data entry for management and operational needs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control.

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with shipping documentation such as bills of lading and packing slips.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with drivers, carriers, and internal teams.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Frankfort, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
