Phlebotomist Float Full Time

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist float to perform blood collections across multiple locations in the Van Nuys area. The role involves patient specimen collection, data entry, and administrative duties with flexible scheduling across varied clinical sites.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and related analyses
Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information and maintain logs
Prepare collected specimens for testing and travel to additional sites as needed
Process billing information, collect payments, and provide customer service

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT)
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to pass color blindness test
At least 21 years of age
Reliable transportation
Proven customer service track record
