Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct hire opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist at our U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a full-time, fully onsite position working Monday through Friday. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of inventory transactions across warehouse operations. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, maintaining item master data, processing inventory transactions, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to support inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfillment. Targeted compensation for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.Job Responsibilities:Assist, as necessary, with training, floor coverage, service warehousing, and remote facility warehousingExecute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepanciesOversee stock item master data, ensuring accuracy in descriptions and stock numbersLocate miscategorized items to assist with order processing accuracyCoordinate with Customer Service to resolve order issuesGenerate and process cycle counts; research discrepancies and initiate recounts as neededComplete required departmental paperworkSupport 5S and Lean initiatives to improve workflow and eliminate wasteInvestigate errors and identify root causesMaintain effective communication and coordination between departmentsRequired Experience:Minimum of 2 years of relevant inventory control experienceHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using computer-based inventory management systemsPersonal Qualifications:Strong initiative and self-motivationDetail-oriented and goal-driven with a commitment to safetyOrganized and capable of maintaining a clean, orderly workspacePositive, dependable, and trustworthyEffective both independently and in a team environmentStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbalJob Requirements:Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history checkMost felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basisMust be willing and able to utilize all required PPEValid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standardsEmployment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States.
