Project Manager

Job Description TRC’s client is a leader in general contract construction, looking for a Project Manager on a full-time, direct-hire basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee construction and engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. Participate in site safety programs to ensure safe working conditions and eliminate workplace accidents. Actively promote safety awareness and compliance with OSHA and company regulations. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools to track progress and manage milestones. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and reports, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirementsMonitor project costs and financials, ensuring projects stay within budget and implementing cost-saving measures where possible. Oversee procurement processes, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors Provide leadership and training to project teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring smooth execution and timely problem-solving

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in project management within the construction or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling techniques, and construction best practices. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project. Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and ability to travel to project sites regionally.
