Role Summary Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a curious, collaborative, and craft-focused Product Designer to help create engaging digital experiences across Topps, Fanatics Live, and Fanatics Collect . In this role, you’ll work alongside product designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, marketers, and creative partners to turn ideas and user needs into intuitive, engaging product experiences for fans and collectors. You’ll contribute throughout the design process—from exploring concepts and user flows to creating polished interfaces and supporting implementation. You’ll also partner closely with our Graphic Designer to bring together product usability and strong visual storytelling, helping create cohesive experiences across our products and brands. This is an opportunity for a designer who is building their product design career and wants hands-on experience working across digital products at the intersection of sports, collecting, community, content, and commerce. As part of Fanatics Collectibles’ continued global growth, we are establishing a new technology hub in Mexico City focused on operational excellence, platform scalability, trust, and customer experience. This team partners closely with Customer Experience (CX), Trust & Safety, Fraud Prevention, Payments, and Financial Operations organizations to build scalable systems and operational tooling that support millions of users and transactions globally. What You’ll Do Design thoughtful, intuitive experiences for Topps, Fanatics Live, and Fanatics Collect across web and mobile products. Translate product requirements, user needs, and business objectives into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs. Contribute to the design process from early exploration and concept development through detailed design and implementation. Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand requirements, explore solutions, and bring experiences to life. Partner with other designers to understand user problems and develop solutions within established product and design direction. Collaborate with our Graphic Designer and creative partners to ensure product experiences feel connected to the visual identity and expression of each brand. Apply and contribute to established design systems, patterns, and interaction standards to create consistent experiences. Use feedback, research, product insights, and data to iterate on designs and improve the user experience. Create prototypes and other design artifacts that help communicate ideas and facilitate collaboration. Participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, product reviews, and cross-functional working sessions. Partner with engineering during implementation to help ensure the quality and intent of the design carries through to the final experience. Manage assigned projects and priorities while communicating progress, questions, and potential challenges. Stay curious about emerging patterns and trends across product design, mobile experiences, social platforms, marketplaces, live commerce, sports, and collecting. What We’re Looking For Experience in product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or a related digital design discipline through professional work, internships, freelance projects, or other relevant experience. A portfolio demonstrating your product design process and ability to solve user experience and interface design problems. Strong foundations in visual and interaction design, including layout, typography, hierarchy, usability, and responsive design. Familiarity with designing digital experiences for web and/or mobile applications. Proficiency with Figma or similar product design and prototyping tools. An understanding of user-centered design principles and an interest in developing deeper product design expertise. Ability to take a defined problem or set of requirements and explore thoughtful design solutions. Strong attention to detail and an openness to feedback and iteration. Ability to communicate design ideas and explain the thinking behind your decisions. A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working closely with product, engineering, design, and creative partners. Ability to balance multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-moving environment. Curiosity and a desire to continue learning and developing your craft. Interest in sports, collectibles, entertainment, community, live commerce, or digital marketplaces is a plus. How You’ll Work With the Creative Team Great fan experiences require both strong products and strong brands. In this role, you’ll work closely with designers and creative partners to help connect the two. As a Product Designer , you’ll focus primarily on how digital experiences work—understanding user needs, defining flows and interactions, designing interfaces, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to bring those experiences to life. You’ll partner with our Graphic Designer , who helps shape how our brands and campaigns visually come to life across marketing, content, and other fan-facing touchpoints.
