Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN is also responsible for pre-procedure, intra procedure, and post procedure assessments.Education & Experience:Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program, requiredCurrent MS state licensure, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification, requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), requiredCompletion of Moderate Sedation course, requiredIV certification, requiredMinimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience, with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas, preferredProficient at patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering Moderate SedationQualifications:Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fast?paced, high?pressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable, punctual, and highly detail?orientedStrong multitasking and independent?work capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyKnowledge of ASC procedures, infection control practices and emergency response protocolsWork Schedule:PRN, 10 hour days
