Cable Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable Low Voltage Technician to support installation and maintenance of structured cabling and low voltage systems. This role is ideal for someone with basic hands‑on experience, including electrical apprentices who are not actively pursuing licensed hours but want to build field experience. Key Responsibilities Install, route, and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber – basic exposure is a plus) Assist with installation of devices such as access control, security cameras, and network equipment Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and basic testing Read and follow basic project drawings, layouts, and instructions Maintain clean and organized job sites Support senior technicians and project leads on active job sites Adhere to safety standards and company procedures Skills and Qualifications Experience with CAT 5, CAT 6, fiber, coax, termination, block 66, block 110, cable, and cabling Must be presentable, coachable, and open to all aspects of voice and data cabling Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime Entry‑level experience required Job Type & Location Contract to Hire, based out of Merrimack, NH. Fully onsite position. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $26.00 per hour.
