Forklift Driver II - Quality

Position Summary Forklift Driver II – responsible for collecting facility trash and recycling, disposing of items with forklifts and recycling equipment. Shift & Schedule Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 12 hours per day on a 2/2/3 schedule. Responsibilities Maintain and operate the facility recycling equipment. Collect trash and recycling from the plant for disposal using a forklift. Complete daily assigned checklist items pertaining to facility upkeep and recycling programs. Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and goods. Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring pedestrian traffic, following safety procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Keep the forklift operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and job shadowing. Interact and maintain positive relationships with all levels of leadership. Accomplish special projects and other duties as required by management. Comply with all safety rules and regulations, GMPs, and company policies and procedures. Establish and maintain high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity inside and outside the plant. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing/warehouse environment; at least 3 years preferred in a forklift position. Forklift certification required; must pass DrinkPAK’s forklift certification upon hire. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred. Proven ability to safely operate a sit‑down motorized forklift. Ability to navigate within a WMS system. Full understanding of forklift operations (electrical or propane). The job requires reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs, with frequent standing, walking, sitting, and the use of arms overhead.
