Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details: Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology laborist coverage with 10-15 patient encounters per shift Provider must be able to supply 100 case logs immediately upon engagement Availability required starting in December and on an ongoing basis for continued coverage needs Per hospital policy, providers are required to wear hospital-issued scrubs while on duty Hospital policy requires natural nails only; artificial nails of any kind are strictly prohibited Manage low risk pregnancies and perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation capabilities Conduct routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps Perform decision-making for c-sections and execute c-section procedures Manage complicated deliveries including breech presentations and abruptions Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures Perform surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromotubation), and operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's Board certification required (minimum board certified) Active California medical license required; must be licensed in CA only BLS and PALS certifications required Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30-60 days

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
