Clermont, FL | $17 hourly

Our client is looking for a  Purchasing Coordinator to join their busy, fast-paced, energetic office in the Clermont FL area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, organized professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning a unique business.

As the Purchasing Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping the company's purchasing and inventory processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate purchasing activities from order placement through delivery
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Work closely with internal teams to understand purchasing needs
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Track orders and help ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Work with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
• Use purchasing and computer systems to keep information organized and up to date
• Help identify opportunities for cost-effective purchasing
• Handle multiple priorities while keeping deadlines and details on track

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or purchasing coordination experience
• Strong computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook  
• Experience with purchasing systems; QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines
• A team-player attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating with the team
