Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Brattleboro, VT Start Date: October 1, 2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage with credentialing approximately 2 months Shift: 3-5 days per week, outpatient clinic hours Hours/Week: Flexible, based on schedule Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: VT state license preferred; will consider candidates needing licensure Experience: Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Negotiable hourly rate Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide outpatient, non-invasive cardiology care at a well-respected Vermont hospital Perform ECHOs, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures Collaborate with two APRNs as part of a dedicated team Manage an average of 16 adult patients per clinic day Support in diagnostic and consultative services in a trauma Level IV facility Work independently with no call responsibilities Maintain documentation in Cerner EMR What You Need Required: Valid medical license in Vermont or ability to obtain one Experience in outpatient cardiology diagnostics including ECHO and EKGs Strong collaboration skills with healthcare providers Preferred: Prior locum or outpatient cardiology experience Strong diagnostic and patient management skills Ability to adapt to EMR systems like Cerner About the Assignment This role is based at a leading facility in Brattleboro, Vermont, providing outpatient cardiology services within a collaborative multi-specialty group.
