Investment Relations Associate / VP

Position available in New York City or Chicago.

The Associate/VP of IR & Client Service will serve as a key relationship manager for clients. This is a client-facing role with relationship management, investment content, and operational execution responsibilities.

An ideal candidate will likely have experience in investment consulting or investment management with a desire to work within private markets - Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, for example.

Build rapport with existing and potential clients to develop trusted partner relationships.

• Provide prompt, continuous, consistent, and clear communication to clients and prospects
• Maintain accessible and up-to-date knowledge on client activity
• Anticipate client needs
• Develop and maintain an understanding of products, portfolio companies, and performance narrative
• Derive plans or next steps towards client solutioning
• Prepare investor updates covering closed-end fund performance, deal activity, exits, etc.
• Promote deeper client relationships within the organization
• Host on-site interactions (Client due diligence meetings, casual visits, etc.)
• Develop and maintain RFP/RFI data set
• Develop, establish, and maintain client profile data set in CRM
• Assist in the onboarding of new investors
