Highlights Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift Pay: $64.85/hour What You'll Do Deliver patient care by applying the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching, rounding, and planning post-hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their care plans and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process. Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in New York State. Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
