Job Description

Serve meals to patrons for banquet and catering functions.

• Always adhere to Stay Safe with Sonesta safety guidelines.
• Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.
• Serve drink of choice to guests.
• Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Suggest desserts, beverages and after dinner drinks.
• Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as needed.
• Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.
• Adhere to Sonesta Service Standards.
• Adhere to all Sonesta Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Additional Job Information/Anticipated

Pay Range $9.39 to $11.39 per hour/ Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
