Technical Program Manager

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Responsibilities Be responsible for smooth execution of various development and support project streams at onsite and offshore. Connect with the Project team members for project updates, risks and issues on a weekly basis. Conduct regular connects with the customer’s point of contact for project feedback, issues, escalation and to establish a good relationship. Participate in all the weekly project status review meetings with the customer. Be aware of the customer delivery process and suggest necessary internal changes to align with the customer’s process. Support the hiring team with interview processes and smooth onboarding of selected candidates. Account Management Build and establish relationships with new contacts within and across departments at the customer location. Work with the customer and delivery team on any new opportunity in the account and review the opportunity closure plan. Proactively update the Sales/Delivery Management team of any changes at the customer end. Initiate, prepare and actively participate in the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review meetings with the customer. Manage P&L for the account with respect to revenue, gross margin and operational excellence covering resource utilization, bench and billing. Initiate and track hiring requests with the Hiring Team for all positions for the account and be responsible for closure of the positions. Track and follow up on all existing project extensions and get SOWs created in a timely manner. Qualifications 13+ years of total experience with 5 years in managing large projects/programs in Azure Cloud, Databricks and on‑prem projects involving Microsoft technologies & tools, complex/large data volumes. Ability to manage & drive projects with metrics and data, create structure and templates for project reviews. Strong experience in an Onsite‑Offshore model. Account Management – growth mindset to take the account to the next level. Strategic Thinking – analyze data and present options to senior management/exec level. Social Skills – build rapport at all levels with the customer. Managing Agile project execution using Azure; good understanding of validation/qualification processes in a regulated environment. Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills; strong organizational skills; works well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
