Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical exams and health assessments for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Diagnosing and developing treatment plans for various pain-related conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and post-operative pain management.
• Prescribing medications, including pain relief medications and adjuncts, while carefully monitoring their effects on patients.
• Educating patients about pain management strategies, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and quality of life.
• Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care plans。
• Managing patient records efficiently, including documenting encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care notes within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following:

• A valid Physician Assistant license for the state of Georgia.
• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) credentials.
• A valid DEA number for prescribing medications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant is required, candidates with prior experience in pain management and familiarity with surgical settings will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits
