Licensed Cna-Skilled Nursing Unit (Prn)

Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse the certified nurse aide performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed by the commonwealth of virginia as a certified nursing assistant
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department
• Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures
