Job Description
  • Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to foster improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in close partnership with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, along with physicians and nursing staff, ensuring comprehensive care for all.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Equip patients and their caregivers with essential knowledge and tools to facilitate continued improvement in their everyday environments.
  • Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring each patient remains on a positive trajectory.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and fully supported.
Certifications
  • Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
