- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to foster improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in close partnership with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, along with physicians and nursing staff, ensuring comprehensive care for all.
- Guide Patients and Families: Equip patients and their caregivers with essential knowledge and tools to facilitate continued improvement in their everyday environments.
- Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring each patient remains on a positive trajectory.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and fully supported.
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
