CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of CT exams (approximately 60–100 patients per day) across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Operate GE CT scanners (Revolution EVO APEX in the ED; Revolution EVO in the main department) within a two-room radiology department
• Utilize facility EMR (Allscripts-based BAR system) and PACS (Scimage PICOM) for image acquisition, archiving, and communication
• Start IVs as required for contrast administration and patient preparation
• Complete 4 hours of required billable computer orientation modules prior to the start of the assignment (modules delivered Monday–Tuesday of the week prior to start; hours to be added to the first week's timesheet)
• Participate in on-call or standby coverage as needed; expected to work holidays based on departmental need

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification (CT specialty) required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE CT scanner equipment
• Ability to perform IV starts independently
• Willingness to work a set traveler schedule, including potential weekend or weekday assignments depending on contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Allscripts-based EMR systems and/or Scimage PICOM PACS
• Experience working in a high-volume, multi-setting CT environment (inpatient, outpatient, and ED)
• Familiarity with GE Revolution EVO or EVO APEX scanner platforms
