Operate machinery for excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final clean up Backfill the ditch properly after the pipe is laid Perform backfill safely as part of a crew Perform operator-level maintenance on the machine Move trench boxes from the ditch Perform laborer functions as required Requirements Previous construction experience 2-5 years in construction experience Utility work experience preferred Firm knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance Must be willing to work overtime and travel Background screening and drug-free workplace requirements May be required to complete a post-offer physical and a site-specific background check Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in operating and maintaining excavation machinery, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork in construction environments.
