Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians, based on your qualification
• Educating patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications within your practice privileges
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management initiatives
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, wraparound care
• Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or able to obtain within 90 days)
