Java Developer with Performance Testing – Contract, Bellevue, WA Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with Performance Testing experience to join our client in Bellevue, WA. The role requires at least 10+ years of experience in performance engineering and Java development, with strong skills in thread and heap dump analysis, load testing, and application performance monitoring. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications. Analyze thread dumps, heap dumps, and application performance issues. Conduct load testing using tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter. Optimize application servers and database middleware, including tuning. Use performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics to identify bottlenecks. Design and maintain web services, applying design patterns. Provide performance insights and recommendations for e‑commerce platforms. Qualifications 10+ years of Java/J2EE development experience. Strong SQL skills. Hands‑on experience with performance testing and monitoring. Proficiency in thread and heap dump analysis. Experience with LoadRunner and JMeter. Familiarity with AppDynamics or similar performance analysis tools. Knowledge of web services and design patterns. Experience with e‑commerce platforms is an added advantage.
