SEASONAL INCOME TAX PREPARER — EXPERIENCED

January–April | Clearfield, Utah | In-office

Paice Tax and Accounting is seeking an experienced income tax preparer for the upcoming tax season. We offer flexible, part-time or full-time hours in a professional, client-focused office.

Our tax-season office hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Work schedules are arranged within these hours.

Responsibilities

• Meet with and interview clients to gather information needed to prepare individual income tax returns.
• Review and analyze client-provided tax documents and financial information.
• Accurately prepare individual income tax returns.
• Review completed returns with clients, explain results, and answer questions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications

• At least one year of paid experience preparing individual income tax returns is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in accounting or taxation preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with common office software and internet tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a professional, friendly approach to working with clients.
• Experience with Drake tax software is a plus.

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience, plus an end-of-tax-season bonus.
