Role Overview We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Azure, Databricks, Python, Spark, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of ETL processes and cloud‑based data platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers, data architects, and client stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure and Databricks. Build ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory and PySpark. Process and transform large datasets using Apache Spark. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. Work with Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics to build modern data platforms. Perform data integration, transformation, and data modeling activities. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product teams to support analytics initiatives. Assist in developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability. Maintain technical documentation and follow engineering best practices. Preferred Candidate Profile 2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Apache Spark (PySpark). Experience working with Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics. Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts. Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience working directly with client stakeholders is preferred.
