Responsibilities Awaiting You

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues collaboratively with physicians or autonomously (depending on your credentials)
• Teaching patients and families about wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications within your practice's legal framework
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, comprehensive care
• Meticulously documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to secure within 90 days)
