The primary function of the Inside Sales Specialist is to support Outside Sales / Account Executives in their efforts to sell Knapp solutions to new and existing customers in their assigned markets.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Support Outside Sales as required to sell Knapp systems to new and existing customers
• Work collaboratively with assigned Knapp resources (engineering, purchasing, service, and Knapp parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates, including KAG, KSI, DFT, etc.) to develop systems that meet customer's needs and budgets
• Produce detailed proposals describing Knapp's designed system
• Produce cost estimates for management approval
• Provide support to create and give effective, accurate, and technically correct customer presentations
• Comply with the most current version of the Knapp Inc. Sales Process

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree with minimum 4 years' sales experience
• Technical background in material handling, logistics, supply chain, or order fulfillment preferred
• Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management technology
• Knowledge/proficiency of SAP
• Ability to think creatively, plan, organize, set goals, and execute strategically
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and internal/external networking skills
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with hands-on approach

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Overtime, as required by work
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Passport or ability to obtain a passport
• Domestic and international travel is required 5-10%
• Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm's length, and lifting up to 25 pounds
