Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer for Business Plaza in El Segundo, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity, and contribute to a responsive team focused on people-first service and innovation.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe on-site activity, assisting with visitor interactions, tenant requests, and/or property-related concerns as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- This is a primarily driving post.
- A current guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
