Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred
• Recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety procedures
• Proficiency with radiologic equipment and digital imaging technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
• Valid state licensure as required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for interventional radiologic procedures by explaining processes, confirming patient identity, and reviewing relevant clinical history
• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist physicians during IR procedures by anticipating needs and managing sterile fields
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, reporting changes promptly
• Apply proper safety and infection control standards to all aspects of imaging services
• Perform and document pre- and post-procedure care according to facility protocols
• Accurately maintain patient records and imaging logs
