Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Lead the operational management of a busy pharmacy serving approximately 1,100 – 1,200 prescriptions weekly in San Carlos, AZ. This role involves overseeing a diverse team of 64 pharmacy professionals, including pharmacists, lead technicians, technicians, and clerical staff, to ensure efficient and compliant pharmacy services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workflow and staffing schedules for pharmacists, technicians, and clerical personnel to meet operational demands.
• Oversee pharmacy cleanliness and organizational standards.
• Lead reconciliation processes for medication and supply orders, addressing discrepancies and communicating resolutions.
• Collaborate in setting and achieving departmental goals aligned with the broader organizational strategic plan.
• Provide leadership and guidance to foster a productive and compliant pharmacy environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience with at least 2 years preferred in a hospital setting.
• Current and active pharmacist license required; Arizona state license preferred but not required.
