Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Practice Physician to join a well-established outpatient primary care office in the Bronx, New York.

This opportunity combines clinical practice with academic engagement, allowing physicians to participate in teaching and residency program activities while maintaining a balanced outpatient workload. Newly trained graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Flexible scheduling is available, including full-time and part-time options, with limited call responsibilities and opportunities for hybrid or remote work. Physicians may also choose to practice in a traditional model that includes inpatient rounding if desired.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Participate in teaching, supervision, and mentorship of residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR system.
• Engage in departmental quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives.
• Support the organization's mission of delivering patient-centered, community-oriented healthcare.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine; active or eligible New York medical license.
• Experience: New graduates and early-career physicians are welcome to apply.
• Language: Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Visa Candidates: H1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
