Location: Middleton, MA 01949
Pay: $23.00/hour
Duration: 6-month contract with potential Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 10:00 AM6:00 PM
Position Overview
Seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, scan, and put away raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
- Pick and stage customer orders according to pick lists.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Maintain accurate inventory, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
- Complete shipping/receiving paperwork and maintain organized records.
- Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Requirements
- 12+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
- Forklift/aisle stacker experience required.
- Materials management and inventory experience.
- Chemical/hazardous material handling experience preferred.
- SAP/ERP experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk throughout the workday.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
