Staff Accountant

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, the Jr. Accountant supports the financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. This role supports revenue auditing, accounts payable and receivable activities, and month-end closing to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Benefits (After probationary period): Medical / Dental / Vision PTO 401k Key Responsibilities Audit and reconcile daily revenue and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and distribute daily financial reports. Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable functions. Support group, review financial statements, and corporate billing activities. Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections. Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger, and bank accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Qualifications 2-3+ year of hotel/hospitality accounting experience required. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations (balance sheets, G/L,P&L statements) and general accounting principles. Experience with PMS and POS systems preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
