RN - Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (preferred), NIHSS Must-Have: First-time travelers are welcomeLocal candidates are acceptedFloat requiredWeekend coverage required Description:Position involves providing telemetry care to patients.Patients may include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Shift days are from Sunday to Saturday.Shift hours may vary, including nights.Telehealth experience is preferred.Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation is necessary.Candidates must demonstrate competency in managing and caring for various cardiac conditions.Skills in the use of rapid response teams and code team readiness are essential.Care and management of IVs, including peripheral and central lines, is a key responsibility.Experience with oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management is expected.Knowledge of isolation precautions and infection control protocols is required.The role involves post-operative care for cardiac procedures and managing patients on cardiac drips.Candidates must have experience with wound care and surgical drains.Tracheostomy care and management experience are advantageous.Ability to monitor and provide care for patients with neurological and trauma-related conditions is necessary.References from two supervisors will be required.Flexibility regarding potential interviews is desired.All certifications must be current and maintained during employment.The facility maintains strict compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
