Our mission is to provide essential sweeping and environmental services that support cleaner, safer, and more sustainable communities.Your Daily ImpactAs our next Shop Helper, you'll play an important role in supporting our fleet maintenance team by assisting with oil changes, tire service, equipment inspections, and general shop operations. Working alongside experienced diesel mechanics, you'll help prepare and maintain our street sweepers and support equipment, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and ready to serve the communities that depend on them.The job responsibilities below outline the core duties and expectations of a position, providing clarity on how the role supports Company goals. However, not all duties can be listed, and as business needs evolve, responsibilities may shift over time to reflect new priorities, processes, or technologies:Safety & Inspection: Follow safety protocols and observe all precautions while performing tasks to ensure a safe work environment.Execution: Complete all assigned parts processing, pick-ups, and deliveries efficiently and accurately.Equipment Operation: Operate vehicles and basic equipment safely to support parts transport and inventory tasks.Material Handling: Identify, pick, and handle parts correctly, ensuring proper storage and organization.Reporting: Immediately report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.Communication: Coordinate with technicians, team leads, and other departments to support workflow and address urgent needs.Compliance & Documentation: Maintain clean driving records, follow company policies, and ensure all required documentation is accurate.Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond quickly to emergencies, shifting priorities, and unforeseen challenges in deliveries and inventory.Minimum Job RequirementsMinimum job qualifications define the essential skills, experience, and abilities needed to succeed in the role.
